The Cage
Once Riva, her mother, and her younger brothers are forced to move into a Nazi ghetto for the jewish people, everything seemed to only go downhill after Mama was taken to a concentration camp. Riva, now being the mother of her three younger brothers now has some serious responsibility. Not only is she very weak, but her thirteen year old brother is sick also. When her and her brothers are seperated at the gates of a concentration camp, Riva is now offically alone.
This amazing novel in memory of all the ones that died during the holocaust written by Ruth Minsky Sender (Riva herself) shows the strength and determination of one simple girl. I would rate this book 3/5 stars |
